Airport to Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina

Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina sits at Estate Smith Bay on the East End, on a long soft sand beach that looks straight across at St. John. From Cyril E. King Airport it is the cross island run, tracking the same East End corridor as Red Hook. GrandArrival meets you inside the terminal at Cyril E. King, loads the luggage into a black GMC Yukon XL Denali, and delivers you straight to the Sapphire property. The rate follows our published East End tier at $175 for one to four guests, with $30 for each additional guest. If your plans include a day sail from the marina, ask us to help time the return so you catch the boat with room to spare.

The ride

The route from Cyril E. King out to the East End winds along the south side of the island, past Havensight and around the East End ridge. It is the long cross island run, and traffic through Charlotte Amalie sets the pace, so we build honest timing into every pickup.

The black GMC Yukon XL Denali comfortably fits four guests with a full set of checked and carry on bags. Larger parties move to the air conditioned executive van so the whole group rides together.

Every ride includes a live flight watch, a meet and greet inside the terminal with your name on a sign, help with luggage, bottled water in the vehicle, and a direct arrival at Sapphire Beach Resort.
